Budget Items Comparison - House v. Senate
HB 2609 Supported Decision Making passed the House - no action in Senate
Lottery Funding for Crisis Programs and Clubhouse Model Programs tied up with Chiefs funding. House and Senate have two different approaches.
MHIT program completely defunded through Senate floor amendment. Currently under negotiation in budget conference committee.
Cuts to CCBHC rates and CMHC grants to serve the uninsured have been proposed through various late session maneuvers. Still unclear how this will shake out.
SB 363 - would add federal HR 1 rules to Kansas medicaid statutes - increase eligibility redeterminations to quarterly instead of annual. Currently awaiting action in Senate Public Health and Welfare. House Committee amended extensively. Did not get action on House floor. We expect it could be dropped into a conference committee report.
