    Adult Continuum of Care Report - Amy Campbell - Final Report is available on the website.

    Mental Health Medication Advisory Committee - Susan Zalenski, Amy Campbell - meeting is February 14.

    Alliance for a Healthy Kansas - Amy Campbell - Bills for Medicaid Expansion - Kancare Bridge to a Health Kansas have been introduced in the House (HB 2064) and Senate (SB 38).  Hearings are expected in House Health and Human Services February 6 (neutral), February 8 (proponents) and February 9 (opponents).  

9:45 a.m.   Approve the 2017 KMHC Consensus Recommendations - 2016 process for updates and amendment.  Please draft an issue paper for the topic that you would like to see included in the Coalition's October or November agenda.   Linked here: sample issue paper format.doc

Legislation for Breakthrough Club initiative - HB 2044 -  include within the medicaid program reimbursement for clubhouse rehabilitation services.  House hearings this week.

Addictions Treatment - Issues to revisit if time allows

10:00 a.m.  Guest Topic - Juvenile Justice Reform   An update on the topic since legislation passed in 2016.  Funding issues have led to concerns that reform will be delayed.

Legislative Interim Committees - Report to 2017 Legislature - includes Foster Care Adequacy, Corrections and Juvenile Justice Oversight and others.  Kancare Oversight and Special Committee on Larned and Osawatomie State Hospitals Interim Report are not yet published.  Special Committee on Step Therapy topics did not meet.
